In Late October 2010, Nevada Highway Patrol and Henderson Police officers approached the 4-door sedan driven by Adam Greene with guns drawn. Even though officers were screaming at him to exit his vehicle, Adam Greene didn’t move. Moments later, an officer kicked in the driver’s side window of Mr. Greene’s car, pulling him to the ground and screaming.
As the officers pulled Adam Greene from his car, he was thrown to the ground. Additional officers came to the scene, repeatedly kicking Adam Greene on the ground. One even screamed “Stop resisting, mother#$%!er repeatedly. Then Mr. Greene was searched and police found insulin on his person. Quickly realizing they had not beaten a drunk driver but instead someone in diabetic shock, the Nevada Highway Patrol and Henderson Police officers openly discussed fallout from the incident.
